Under the Child Development Program, various activities have been implemented in the last 3 years through Bangladesh Shishu Academy, Barisal District Office. About 75,000 children get the benefit of participation through all these activities. Every year, national level awards are organized at the national level for 58 subjects and seasonal competitions are organized at 5 subjects at the national level. Every year more than 25,000 children in the district participate in this competition. In the last 03 (three) years, about 1000 thousand children were given training in music, dance, painting, recitation, a total of 05 subjects. In the last 03 years, 180 poor children have been provided pre-primary education. More than 5,000 (five thousand) copies of children's books and children's magazines published by the BSA central office were sold with the aim of making the children more attentive to the lessons. The value of which is about 02 (two lakh) rupees. About two thousand children a year sit in the library and read books. About 40 (forty) thousand children participate in various national and international day celebrations, literary and cultural competitions, children's fun fairs, cultural festivals, meetings, seminars, workshops etc. every year.
